CanWEA 2008: Fast Forward to Wind is being held in Vancouver BC this year, October 19 to 22
In its 24th year, the annual Canadian wind industry gathering will feature around 200 exhibitors and 2,000 participants. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to launch into a wind-related career, full of educational and networking events.
The Conference this year is organized in three distinct themes. Track 1 will focus on “Growing Wind in Canada”, Track 2 will focus on “Trends in Wind R&D”, and Track 3 will explore “The Business of Wind”. In addition, on Sunday October 19th there will be a half-day pre-conference session covering the technical, practical and policy aspects of small wind energy systems.
Volunteer opportunities exist for those interested in helping out and gaining partial access to the event at no charge.
