The Ocean Renewable Energy Group’s annual event takes place Nov 19-20, in Whistler BC
Since its formation in 2004, Oceans Renewable Energy Group has held seven major events, bringing together the national and international ocean energy sector. The last event held in Quebec in April of 2008, was the first bilingual ocean energy event. With an average attendance of 110 delegates, these events have proven important, and successful, in building awareness of the Canadian ocean energy industry as well as international activities. Bringing together a variety of interests has been a key factor in the continued expansion of the ocean energy community.
