Lakeland College and Canadian Geo-Exchange Coalition team up

Nov 3rd, 2008 - The Canadian GeoExchange™ Installers’ Course® contents have been fully integrated into Lakeland’s one-year Renewable Energy and Conservation certificate program. The program began in October 2008 with online delivery available to participants anywhere with high speed internet access.
“The geoexchange training program to be offered at Lakeland will contribute to industry growth and help establish training cohesion in Alberta and in Canada,” said Denis Tanguay, President and CEO of CGC. “This is an important step forward as its sends a constructive message to the industry. Students trained at Lakeland College will be able to apply for CGC installer accreditation after they complete this program. At this time, there is no other geoexchange training course offering this opportunity in Alberta and Western Canada,” he added.
